Harford Community College is seeking a Security Services Officer to provide security, law enforcement and emergency response on campus. The role includes patrolling, investigations, medical first aid, and logistics support for campus property and events.

The position requires strong reporting, decision-making, and the ability to coordinate with campus leadership. Schedule up to 20 hours weekly, with potential evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of public safety experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of three years of work experience as a Police Officer.
• Experience thoroughly and accurately investigating and documenting crimes and/or College violations.
• Experience providing logistical support such as opening and closing facilities according to set protocols.

Responsabilités

• Patrolling the campus and reporting on crime and conduct violations.
• Providing first responder medical assistance and emergency response.
• Instructing classes for faculty, employees and students on safety related topics.
• Consulting on campus safety initiatives and conduct review boards.
• Leading contracted employees by preparing schedules and payrolls.
