Job summary

Cornell University IT at Cornell is seeking a customer-focused Print Technician to support CU Print, the campus-wide printing service. The role centers on hands-on troubleshooting, on-campus support, and delivering a reliable printing experience for students, faculty, and staff across the campus.

You'll manage service tickets, coordinate with Toshiba technicians and vendors, and train campus printing coordinators while collaborating with IT colleagues to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of Tier 1/Level 1 technical support for printer hardware and software.
• Strong customer service mindset with proactive relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, students, and campus partners.
• Troubleshoot printer hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate service requests and repairs with Toshiba technicians and vendors.
• Support approximately 147 student printing devices across campus.
• Manage service tickets and ensure issues are resolved within SLAs.
• Monitor printer supplies, inventory, and maintain replacement parts.
