Louisiana State University seeks an Operations Manager for Plumbing & Utilities to lead campus-wide systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation. Responsibilities include contract management, preventive maintenance oversight, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination with Facilities Operations, Engineering, EHS, and campus stakeholders.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with related experience.
• Experience managing complex contracts and vendor relationships.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management: manage plumbing and utility service contracts, scope development, procurement support, coordination, renewals, and compliance.
• Billing and Financial Management: review/approve invoices, charges, POs, expenditures per budgets.
• Project Support: assist with scope, estimates, scheduling, coordination, field verification, closeout.
• Contractor Performance: monitor quality, safety, schedules, deliverables; address deficiencies.
• Budget and Work Planning: assist budgeting, forecasting, prioritization, and resource planning.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain contracts/invoices/work orders/inspections with status updates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
