Job summary

The SJSU Student Union, Inc. is seeking a Student Photographer and Videographer to support its marketing needs through architectural, portrait, stock, and design photography, as well as video production for digital and marketing use.

Under supervision, you will coordinate with the Marketing team, handle stock and event coverage, and prepare photos for print and web, ensuring high-quality visuals that align with the Student Union branding. Availability for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

Ability to take photographs and/or produce video content across architectural, portrait, stock, and related styles.
Portfolio demonstrating previous work.
Matriculated SJSU student enrolled at least half-time during term.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute principal photography and videography for the marketing graphics area.
Select lighting, angles, and subjects to create compelling visuals.
Prepare processed photos for print and digital use (banners, web, social).
Edit photo and video content to align with branding.
Collaborate with marketing team on campaigns from concept to completion.
