Job summary

Pacific University is seeking a NWS Photographer/Videographer/Content Creator for Marketing & Communications. As a student content specialist, you will capture compelling visuals to tell the university’s stories, work to deadlines, and contribute to the multimedia database.

Responsibilities include event coverage, editorial photography, and limited video projects. The role offers hands-on experience, portfolio development, and collaboration with marketing professionals.

Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines.
• Previous photography experience or relevant coursework in photography/media arts
• Familiarity with Mac platforms and beginner proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong organizational skills, creativity, and an interest in storytelling

Responsibilities

• Attending events and working from a provided shot list
• Capturing high-quality photos and video footage
• Assisting with, and appearing in, content for university social media and marketing materials
• Communicating professionally with subjects and event organizers
• Editing photos and videos for use in university marketing and communications
• Organizing content within the university’s multimedia database
