Job summary

Fitchburg State University is seeking a part-time student photographer for the Office of Marketing and Integrated Communications. You will photograph campus events and deliver high-quality images for print and online use via email, Dropbox, or USB.

Ownership of personal camera equipment is required, and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends is expected. The position is non-benefited, with evening/weekend requirements and regular meetings with staff.

Qualifications

• A keen photographic eye.
• Ability to follow directions and capability to work with the public and campus constituencies.
• Photographer must provide their own equipment.
• Schedule availability must be flexible, including nights and some weekends.
• Ability to multitask while providing excellent customer service to internal and external constituents.
• Full time student at Fitchburg State University.

Responsibilities

• Photograph campus events as directed by marketing and integrated communications.
• Deliver images in a timely fashion via email, Dropbox or USB device for use in campus print or online publications, web, or social media.
