Job summary

Jacksonville State University is seeking a Student Assistant Photographer in the Digital Media Services department. The role focuses on capturing university events, people, and activities with artistic photography that reflects the diverse campus life.

Under the Director of Video and Photo Services, you will help develop content strategies, operate cameras and lighting, manage photo archives, and contribute to branding efforts to support enrollment goals while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a JSU student taking at least three hours per fall or spring semester.
• GPA of 2.00 or higher.
• Provide evidence of enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript).

Responsibilities

• Perform artistic photographic work to capture JSU activities and people.
• Support development of digital content strategy with the Director of Video and Photo Services.
• Operate cameras, lenses, strobes and basic production gear; edit photos as needed.
