Job summary

Penn State is hiring Customer Service Representatives to work Monday through Friday, from 10am to 2pm, in the gated campus parking decks. The role involves screening permit holders, assisting entry and exit, and guiding customers to available spaces.

The position will be outdoors or at kiosks in the deck and may require standing and walking for the entire shift. Starting pay is $14 per hour, with teamwork alongside full-time staff during busy times.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Prior customer service preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Screening permit holders for entry into the parking decks when near capacity.
• Assisting customers with entry and exit of the parking decks.
• Controlling the inventory of spaces in the parking decks.
• Helping customers find alternative parking facilities when they are full.
• Resolving equipment issues.
• Answering general questions about parking on campus.
