Job summary

Parking Ambassador at the University of Iowa assists patients, staff and students entering parking ramps, while ensuring compliance with campus regulations and directing to available parking options.

This part-time role requires two years of public‑contact experience, basic computer/tablet skills, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and a successful background check with E‑verify for Iowa employers. Hours are 7am–11am or 11am–3pm, Monday–Friday; pay is $18.77 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two years of public contact experience.
• Experience using computers and/or tablets.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to meet UI Driving Policy.
• Successfully complete criminal background check.
• State agency employers in Iowa require E-verify; UI employees are subject to E-verify.
