A local organization seeks a Parking Supervisor to manage daily event parking operations at Iowa State University. The ideal candidate will ensure safe traffic flow and assist in event management. Responsibilities include supervising staff, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining operational efficiency. A high school diploma and prior experience in customer service or supervisory roles are essential. Flexibility in shift scheduling and outdoor work is required. This position offers a dynamic environment during events.

Competenze

• Must have one (1) year previous experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in the customer service industry is a plus.

Reporting to the Parking Manager , the Parking Supervisor will manage day-to-day event parking, transportation at Venue, Iowa State University.

Responsibilities

• Maintain core values while working onproperty.
• Inspect parking lots several times throughoutday.
• Ensuresafe and efficient traffic patterns for allguests.
• Assistmanagerwith event day operations ofparkinglotsand trafficflow.
• Assist Manager with traffic management program.
• Ensure event day checklists arefollowed & completedforentiretyofevent.
• Ensure campus is set up and lotsareready forevent.
• Report traffic incidents in lots to manager.
• Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parkingoperations.
• Assist Managerby gathering information to respond to guest inquires andinvestigatecomplaints/concerns.
• Assistingwith the continuous evaluation and adjustment pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.
• Overseeing Ambassadors in assigned sections during events.
• Answering customer questions and solving any parking issues that arise throughout the event.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must have one (1)yearpreviousexperience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Core customercommunication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, earlymorningsand late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.
• Previousexperience in event operations or parking operations is preferred, but notrequired.
• Must be able to legallyoperatevehicles.
