University of the Incarnate Word is seeking an Orientation Team Lead to oversee a team of orientation leaders and deliver welcoming, informative experiences for new Cardinals and their families. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Campus Events and focuses on planning, coordination, and mentorship. Requirements include current UIW student status, at least 1 year as an Orientation Leader, and strong leadership and customer service skills.

Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Formación

• Current UIW student enrolled and eligible to work on campus.
• Minimum 1 year as an Orientation Leader at UIW.
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service experience.
• Wamiliarity with coordinating events and guiding peers.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning and implementing orientation programs and events.
• Supervise and support the Orientation Leaders team throughout orientation.
• Act as liaison between Orientation Leaders and Professional Staff.
• Facilitate trainings and team meetings prior to orientation.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to team members.
• Ensure activities run smoothly and on schedule.
• Communicate clearly with new students, families, and stakeholders.
