Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word seeks a Clinical Counselor or Clinical Counselor Associate to provide individual, couples, and group counseling for UIW students and employees. The role includes crisis assessment/intervention and psychoeducational presentations across UIW campuses.

Responsibilities also cover counseling employees, collaboration with the Behavioral Health Services team, and occasional travel to multiple campuses to support events and student well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or related field.
• One year of clinical counseling experience with diverse populations.
• Eligible for Texas licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LPC-Associate) by date of assignment.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling.
• Conduct crisis assessment/intervention and psychoeducational presentations.
• Offer counseling and referral services to UIW employees as needed.
• Travel to multiple uiw campuses for treatment and events.
