Job summary

Ohio Democratic Party is recruiting Campus Organizing Fellows to recruit and train volunteers on campuses to support the 2026 Coordinated Campaign. Fellows will engage student voters, build campus relationships, and work toward goals through face-to-face conversations, tabling, and events.

Fellows will be paid $15 per hour, up to 20 hours per week, and applicants must live in and be enrolled as a student at an Ohio college or university.

Qualifications

• Experience in public-facing roles or customer service.
• Ability to engage diverse voters respectfully.
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities.
• Clear communication and willingness to train others.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced campaign with irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage campus volunteers to persuade and mobilize student voters.
• Build relationships with campus organizations and volunteer leaders.
• Hit voter contact goals through face-to-face conversations, tabling, and canvassing.
• Plan and host events to promote the campaign on campus.
• Register voters on campuses for the November 2026 election.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
