Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal of Operations to oversee campus operations for two IDEA sites, leading front office, SIS, nutrition, transportation, health services, facilities, and enrollment initiatives.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, staff development, and achieving enrollment and ADA targets while coordinating with school leadership and HQ to sustain high-performance operations across non-instructional areas.

Responsibilities

• 85% Ops Staff Retention: ensure top performers occupy every seat across all operations roles and provide ongoing coaching.
• 100% Projected Enrollment for Academy and College Prep by the first day of school; lead recruitment and onboarding of new families.
• 97.5% ADA targets: implement accountability frameworks and monitor attendance data across sites.
• 90% new student persistence: guide onboarding and family engagement from application through first year.
• Oversee Auxiliary Services, optimizing cost/sqft and fund balance in transportation and CNP areas.
• Campus safety and readiness: ensure all campuses are prepared one week before FDOS with trained staff.
