Job summary

CT State Community College is seeking an Associate Director responsible for finance and administrative services. This full-time role requires a Master’s degree and experience in fiscal management. Duties include strategic planning and managing financial resources at the CT State Asnuntuck campus in Enfield, CT.

The ideal candidate will lead accounting management, grant accounting, and oversee procurement efforts. The position offers a competitive salary of approximately $76,469 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Fiscal or Business Office.
• Up to two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the College’s financial and physical resources.
• Oversee general accounting management, capital planning, and grant accounting.

Skills

Knowledge of the Banner financial accounting system

Fixed asset management

Business Office operation including procurement and Accounts Payable

Grant accounting

Cashier's/Bursar's Office and accounts receivable functions

Ability to work with diverse backgrounds

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Education

Master’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related area
