Job summary

Connecticut State Community College, New Haven campus, seeks a Campus Associate Dean of Student Development to manage day-to-day student services operations and lead critical campus programs. Reporting to the Campus Dean, this role oversees Student Life, Student Activities, Student Conduct and Title IX, and partners with central administration to support student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related discipline with two or more years of administrative and managerial experience in higher education.
• Knowledge and skills in developing and implementing student conduct matters.
• Experience with accreditation standards relevant to campus programming.
• Experience leading and evaluating student support staff in a higher education environment.
• Strong data analysis, information literacy, and evidence-based decision making.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day campus operations of the student services functions.
• Oversee student conduct, Title IX Deputy Officer duties, and student activities/staff.
• Supervise Student Government and the Dir. Student Activities.
• Collaborate with central administration and academic deans to align classes with curricula and policies.
• Support student success programs, advising, career services, and student welfare initiatives.
