Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a School Operations Associate to support day-to-day operations at our Austin campuses. You will help manage arrival, dismissal, meals, bus logistics, and inventory while coordinating with vendors and families to ensure a smooth school environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in operations or education, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and strong project and time management to deliver reliable, high-quality service for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred.
• 2-3 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in operations or education.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day school based operations policies and procedures.
• Oversees daily school wide procedures such as arrival, lunch, and dismissal.
• Coordinates with Child Nutrition day to day logistics of service such as meal card replacement and rosters.
• Supports field lesson logistics by booking buses and ordering meals.
• Schedules shared space and ensures substitutes are booked with attendance materials.
• Manages school event coordination and family engagement sessions.
• Curates school social media communications and postings.
• Provides tours for prospective families and serves as an ambassador to the school community.
