Northland Pioneer College is looking for a temporary office clerkto assist in the day to-day activities of the Silver Creek Campus,including the operations of the campus office, such as assistingstudents with registration and payments, answering incomingtelephone calls, answering questions, taking messages, maintaininga presence on campus, and other duties as assigned.
Proficiency in operation of wordprocessing applications and other basic office equipment. Workingknowledge of office practices. Sound oral and written communicationskills; ability to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.Ability to read and comprehend the English language sufficiently inorder to understand written and verbal information. Ability toidentify customer needs and requirements; follow policies andprocedures.
Ability to perform the followingphysical requirements of the position with or without a reasonableaccommodation: Sufficient physical dexterity to use a telephone,computer keyboard and other electronic equipment. Critical sensoryrequirements include general vision (corrected to 20/20), hear andlisten in the normal range (corrected), and speak and give generaldirections clearly.
