Qualifications

• BRN Nurse Practitioner certificate with CA RN license.
• Clinical competency in a medical specialty and ability to work independently.
• 1+ year of professional NP experience; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care by evaluating patients, obtaining histories and physicals, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests; perform procedures; furnish medications; provide preventive care and education.
• Assess mental health needs and provide referrals, consultation, or medication management when indicated.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on complex health concerns and continuity of care.
• Maintain timely electronic health records and ensure care complies with policies and standards (HIPAA, FERPA).
