San Diego State University seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary medical care to students under supervision of the Lead Physician. The NP will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and utilize on-site services such as laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and specialty clinics to support student health.

Qualified candidates will have an approved NP program, BRN NP certification, and CPR/AED credentials.

Qualifications

• Academic degree or certificate from an approved Nurse Practitioner program or equivalent training.
• Current CPR/AED certification from ARC or AHA.
• At least 1 year of NP experience; 3+ years preferred.
• BRN RN license and BRN NP certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive primary care with patient evaluations and histories.
• Order/interpret labs, imaging, and perform procedures; furnish medications.
• Provide mental health referrals or management as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for complex cases.
• Maintain electronic health records and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
