RISD - Rhode Island School of Design seeks a Nurse Case Manager to join Health Services. The role supports student health and success by managing a caseload of students with complex medical concerns, combining direct nursing care with health education and comprehensive case management.

The Nurse Case Manager triages walk-in and phone concerns, coordinates referrals, manages vaccination requirements, and collaborates with RISD staff to promote student well-being and continuity of care.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse license active in RI.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum five years nursing experience.

Aufgaben

• Triage presenting concerns and provide nursing assessment.
• Refer to Nurse Practitioner as needed.
• Maintain immunization compliance and track with EMR.
• Coordinate care and transportation for students in emergencies.
• Educate on nutrition, wellness, contraception, STI/HIV testing and prevention.
