Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management seeks a Property Maintenance Technician for Gordon Commons at ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus. This full-time on-site role reports to the Assistant Director of Facilities and requires performing preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and building upkeep across residential and public areas.

The technician handles HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, lighting, doors, and emergency on-call rotations, with a 24/7 on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years general maintenance experience preferred in residential or student communities.
• Preference given to HVAC, plumbing, electrical experience.
• Must be proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related components.
• Repair and replace public area, office, and residential furniture as needed.
• Conduct routine boiler maintenance and monitor temperatures and gauges.
• Perform general plumbing and electrical repairs as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance shop and keep logs.
