Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of building maintenance or trade school training.
• Must have successfully used all standard hand tools that pertain to the building maintenance industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls as quickly as possible while maintaining safety.
• Work in a team setting with the Director of Facilities and coordinators to meet maintenance, safety, and comfort needs.
• Respond to work requests to the best of your ability.
• Review performance and training needs with supervisors; identify trends in service or facility concerns.
• Follow safety policies and procedures in all duties.
• Keep work areas free of hazards and maintain cleanliness per policy.
• Complete mandatory in-service programs pertaining to building construction and safety.
• Respect residents’ rights to privacy and self-determination.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
