Job summary

Universities of Wisconsin is seeking a Mail Clerk: Level One for the UW Superior campus. This student hourly position processes campus mail, logs packages, and supports delivery to Barkers Island and other campus locations.

A valid US driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required, with driving duties using campus vehicles. Enrolled at least half-time as a UW Superior student, you may be subject to a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Valid non-probationary US driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Enrolled at least half time as a UW Superior student
• Employment requires a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable laws for safe driving when utilizing campus vehicles
• Accurately sort mail and log in packages so they are routed to the correct locations on campus
• Process USPS mail on our metering machine
• Process packages for UPS/FedEx with the appropriate programs on mailroom computer
• Inspect inbound freight as it arrives and coordinate delivery with staff and Grounds crew
