Job summary

UW-Superior is seeking a level one Mail Clerk (Student Help) to assist campus mail operations. This hourly student role involves sorting mail, delivering to campus locations, and logging inbound items; drivers will use campus vehicles and require a valid US driver's license.

The job is designed for enrolled UW Superior students. Eligibility includes enrollment at least half-time, ability to lift 50 lbs, and international students must check Wisconsin license rules.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at least half time as a UW Superior student.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid non-probationary US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable laws for safe driving when utilizing campus vehicles.
• Accurately sort mail and log in packages so they are routed to the correct locations on campus.
• Process USPS mail on our metering machine.
• Process package for UPS/FedEx with appropriate programs on mailroom computer.
• Inspect inbound freight as it arrives and determine what staff member to notify so appropriate means of delivery can be determined.
• We work with the campus Grounds crew for delivery of larger items.
