Qualifications

• Educational Requirements: High School Diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License.
• Forklift Certification through OSHA-certified training program.
• Minimum of 5 Years Experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the delivery of materials, surplus equipment, furniture, packages, and freight throughout multi-campus locations, following GT guidelines and policies.
• Supervise and lead the replacement and removal of all damaged furniture on GT Campus. Oversee moving of heavy and/or fragile equipment.
• Manage and inspect loading and unloading area frequently to ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety standards. Educate Logistics staff on the Environmental Health and Safety standards.
• Sort and load packages on delivery vehicle; operate equipment used to load and unload materials.
• Maintain inventory records and produce inventory reports.
• Prepare and submit appropriate paperwork and reports regarding delivery activity.
• Lead in investigating and resolving customer inquiries and/or complaints regarding logistics services.
• Assume accountability for all equipment and furniture maintained in the Logistics Warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.
