Job summary

TrulyHired seeks a warehouse/delivery driver to transport supplies and equipment to schools and offices by truck. The role includes receiving, storing, inventorying and issuing items, with reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in delivery or warehouse work, knowledge of shipping/receiving, and a valid Georgia driver’s license. Forklift operation skills are a plus and may require certification.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver or of other work in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance and servicing of trucks and forklifts.
• Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Ability to operate forklift; certified forklift operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver books, furniture, supplies and other equipment.
• Operate forklift in loading and unloading trucks, trailers, etc.
• Unload and store incoming stock.
• Stock shelves.
• Assist with inventory.
• Fill requisitions for delivery to various schools and offices.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
• Assist with minor repairs or maintenance on trucks and forklifts.
• Perform other duties as necessary for the effectiveness of the organization.
