Job summary

Genuine Foods is hiring a part-time Cook to join our production kitchen, preparing and serving meals according to daily menus and recipes. This role supports students and educators while maintaining high food safety standards and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of line cook or culinary experience and a flexible, team-oriented attitude. Responsibilities include cooking to recipe specifications, keeping the kitchen clean, and ensuring timely service in a school

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of line cook or culinary experience.
• Must be flexible and team-oriented with strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs.
• Willing to work in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times.
• Cook and prep food according to recipes and specifications.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely service.
• Maintain a clean working environment and assist with cleaning duties.
• Keep area stocked and organized; perform additional duties as assigned.
