Job summary

Genuine Foods in Saint Leo, FL is seeking a Cook to join our production kitchen and prepare meals for students and staff. You will follow recipes, support food safety standards, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, scratch-made meals.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of line cook experience, a positive work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a school environment. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities to grow within our mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of line cook or culinary experience.
• Must be flexible and team oriented.
• Punctual and able to adhere to attendance policy.
• Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Interested in Genuine Foods’ mission to nourish students.
• Able to work in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food according to recipes and specifications.
• Follow food safety standards at all times.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with cleaning duties.
• Keep area stocked and ready for service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
