Job summary

You will answer phones, route inquiries, assist with daily office tasks, monitor spaces like SORCE Room, Meditation Room, Zen Den, Veterans Lounge, and support the Food Pantry by organizing inventory and assisting with deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills while interacting with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Experience working in an office or administrative setting.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Office of Student Life with exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Answer and route telephone calls, provide information and referrals, and assist with daily office operations while maintaining confidentiality of student records.
• Support campus resources by monitoring the SORCE Room, Meditation Room, Zen Den, Veterans Lounge, and serving as receptionist for the Office of Ohioans with Disabilities.
• Maintain shared spaces, coordinate mail distribution, stock office and coffee bar supplies, and assist with general administrative tasks.
• Support Food Pantry operations by receiving and organizing inventory, stocking shelves, assisting with food deliveries and student pickups, collecting donations, and maintaining inventory.
