Job summary

Northern New Mexico College is seeking a Student Life & Events Coordinator to enhance campus engagement, plan student activities, and manage facility rentals across Espanola and El Rito campuses.

The role partners with the President and Provost offices to uphold the college values, supervise student workers, and coordinate events from orientation to commencements, ensuring smooth operation and positive student experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years’ experience in student affairs, event planning, or facilities coordination.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan a wide range of student activities to foster engagement.
• Coordinate campus events, including orientation, clubs, and major institutional events.
• Manage facility rentals, space usage, and calendars across campuses.
• Supervise student workers and event staff; monitor budgets and spending.
• Collaborate with marketing/communications to promote events; advise Student Senate.
