Job summary

The Landing Ames, a Tailwind Group, Inc. community, is seeking a proactive Community Assistant to drive leases and renewals through peer engagement and superb customer service.

This part-time, on-site role supports day-to-day office operations at the Ames property, with a rotating schedule up to 29.5 hours/week, including nights and weekends. You will greet residents and prospects, conduct tours, and promote the community with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of experience in customer service, sales, or retail preferred.
• Current enrollment at the local university and status as a current/future resident is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members.
• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents and community inquiries.
• Conduct property and unit tours, present leasing options, and answer questions about community features and amenities.
• Maintain consistent follow-up communication with prospects via phone, text, and email within property management systems to maximize conversions.
• Drive leasing traffic through on-campus outreach and peer networking.
