Job summary

Western Connecticut State University is seeking a full-time Landscape Technician to maintain campus grounds and athletic fields across Midtown and Westside campuses in Danbury, CT. The role requires working Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, and being prepared for extreme weather conditions.

Applicants must possess a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license, and a medical exam, drug screen, and background check will be required prior to offer.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of landscape maintenance experience.
• Experience with operation, maintenance and repair of landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds and athletic field maintenance.
• Assist with snow removal operations.
• Involve in plant selection, installation and seeding of turf grasses.
