Job summary

Ball State University Facilities Planning and Management is seeking a hands-on Facil Landscape Worker with CDL to join our on-campus team. The role is full-time with a 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, on campus in Muncie, IN.

The ideal candidate will hold a Commercial Driver License, meet physical requirements, and contribute to lawn, landscape, and snow removal tasks across campus while delivering excellent service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding landscape tasks and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn maintenance with various mowers and edging equipment.
• Install and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and landscape features.
• Install lawn, soil, and seed materials; manage mulch and beds.
• Snow removal, leaf collection, trash/recycling, and seasonal duties.
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment and ensure safety protocols.
