The role includes assisting with incident response readiness and coordinating lab computer updates. Evening and weekend hours may be required.

The position emphasizes customer service, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams and end users to ensure reliable computer services across labs and classrooms.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of technology user service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of computer hardware, software and peripherals.
• Knowledge of problem analysis and troubleshooting principles.
• Knowledge of college policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.
• Skill in customer service and in the operation of computers and related software.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and translate technical information between IT teams and customers for clarity and resolution.
• Document and maintain procedures, changes, project statuses and training materials for future issues.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand requirements and troubleshoot to provide timely solutions.
• Assist with Help Desk coverage and coordinate special projects as assigned.
• Maintain and update lab and staff computers and ensure compliance with policies.
