Job summary

The Halal Shack Howard in Washington, DC is seeking a Unit Supervisor for Campus Restaurant Operations. This role leads both kitchen and Front of House teams to maintain high performance, quality, and guest satisfaction in a lively campus setting.

You will schedule prep, mentor staff, ensure safety standards, and support career growth from Supervisor toward AGM/GM levels as the restaurant expands.

Qualifications

• Experienced supervisor in a kitchen environment with strong leadership.
• Organized, detail-oriented with excellent communication.
• Passion for hand-made, made-to-order cuisine and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate the kitchen and Front of House teams to high performance.
• Maintain food quality and presentation standards.
• Manage kitchen operations to optimize productivity and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Mentor and train staff to uphold restaurant standards and identify leaders.
• Oversee Guest experience and hospitality to ensure excellent service.
