Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for the assigned area.
• Assigns duties to associates under supervision for efficient kitchen operation.
• Ensures proper storage and handling of products; enforces portion, presentation and recipe controls.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Reports equipment repair/maintenance needs to supervisor or facilities department.
• Supervises team members in the absence of the Sous Chef and schedules staff.
