Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for the assigned area.
• Assigns duties to associates under supervision for efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensures proper storage and handling of products; follows portion, presentation and recipe controls.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including food and non-food spaces.
• Reports equipment repair/maintenance to the supervisor or facilities.
• Supervises team in absence of Sous Chef; disciplines, trains and schedules staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
