Job summary

The Kitchen Manager at Opaa! Food Management, Inc. oversees daily kitchen operations to uphold our standards and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Our pay rates vary depending on state and position.

In this role you will supervise kitchen staff, coordinate meal production and delivery, manage inventory, and ensure adherence to HACCP and safety policies across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to supervise kitchen staff and ensure food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day kitchen operations to meet Opaa! standards and health regulations.
• Supervise kitchen staff, train, cross-train and certify stations; ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain HACCP, HHFKA/CACFP compliance and oversee inventory, orders, and FIFO procedures.
• Coordinate production and daily transportation of meals to satellite buildings when applicable.
