Campus Technician (26-27 SY) - Districtwide
District: Irving ISD, Irving, Texas. This position provides technical support for campus computing and AV equipment.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- A+ Certification or current MCP or willing to obtain within two years.
- Knowledge of installation, troubleshooting, repair of computer hardware, printers, A/V, cameras, scanners, copiers.
- Experience with modern operating systems, Office suite, antivirus, imaging, inventory management.
- Setting up and maintaining wired/wireless networks.
- Communication, organization, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to train staff and supervise interns.
- Ability to maintain records and follow instructions.
- High school or trade school degree (preferred).
- Citizenship or residency or work visa (required).
Major Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain operations of all computer systems and campus technologies.
- Coordinate repairs on all technology equipment district-wide.
- Assist in major technology installations with Technical Services, Instructional Technology, and Infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and support campus wireless and wired networks.
- Install licensed software across departments.
- Maintain district electronic inventory database and work order system (TMS).
- Stay current with technology advancements and required certifications.
- Provide positive customer service relations.
- Communicate regularly with supervisor about ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with team environment.
- Follow state, district, and campus policies and procedures concerning technology.
- Perform additional duties as directed by Technical Services.

None.
Working Conditions
Must maintain emotional control, reasoning, and problem‑solving while under stress. Must communicate effectively, interpret procedures, and analyze data for decision-making. Frequent in‑district and occasional in‑state or national travel, occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Ability to climb ladder, work overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds. Safety practices include observing safety rules, wearing PPE as required, and reporting injuries and incidents.
