Job summary

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions is hiring an IT Support Technician to serve as the front-line technology support for faculty, staff, and students. This on-site role covers classroom technology, access management, and device upkeep across RMU's campus in Provo.

The position requires a high school diploma, offers full-time hours (40 per week), and opportunities for IT projects, security improvements, and user training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless).
• Knowledge of identity and access management concepts (MFA, SSO, RBAC).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students.
• Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues and meet SLA targets.
• Manage user accounts and access in systems like Google Workspace, Okta, Entra ID.
• Configure, image, deploy, and maintain computers and mobile devices.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
