Job summary

The State of Ohio is hiring an IT College Intern to support Infrastructure Specialists at the Southwest Ohio Developmental Center in Batavia, OH. Under general direction you will image computing devices, salvage hardware, troubleshoot networking issues, and perform IT tasks across the facility.

The position is temporary, part-time and year-round with flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Pay rates are based on student status, and the internship requires enrollment in an accredited college

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Assist Infrastructure Specialist with IT tasks at assigned sites.
• Images devices, salvages hardware, and performs general IT tasks.
• Troubleshoots basic networking issues.
• Follows IS staff guidance for IT coverage and ServiceNow requests.
• Attends meetings and records notes when needed.
• Performs other duties within internship scope.
