Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an IT Support position to assist staff, faculty, and students with classroom and IT equipment. The role spans Lawrenceburg and Madison campuses and focuses on timely issue resolution, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams.

The successful candidate will support hardware, software, printers, network and provide customer-friendly service while pursuing ongoing training and certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess good customer service and organizational skills.
• Must possess good written and oral communication skills and be able to provide service over the phone, through email or in person.
• Proficient with current hardware and software technology.
• Must maintain professional relationships with peers and superiors.
• Discretion and confidentiality with access to sensitive data and local admin access to devices and data.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and user support for desktop and laptop devices, printers, projectors, document cameras, scanners, and network devices.
• Process IT Helpdesk cases/incidents to resolve issues within the SLA and with complete, respectful communication.
• Assist IT System Administrator and IT Network Administrator as assigned.
• Develop troubleshooting guides under the IT Director.
• Participate in IT Support related projects and provide input to improve efficiency.
