Job summary

National Cathedral School seeks an Assistant Director of Information Technology to lead the campus network, security, and infrastructure supporting grades 4–12. The role includes deploying faculty devices, managing VoIP and AV systems, and collaborating with IT, admin, and facilities teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with enterprise networking, AV systems, and Apple/Microsoft device management, plus vendor coordination and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise network infrastructure and campus systems.
• Proficient with AV systems in large spaces and classrooms.
• Fluency in managing Apple and Microsoft device environments.
• Experience with access control and security camera systems.
• Excellent documentation and vendor coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead network administration and ensure security and reliability of campus infrastructure.
• Oversee cybersecurity planning, threat mitigation, and disaster recovery.
• Manage enterprise solutions such as Aruba, Sophos, Mosyle, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Verkada.
• Provide escalated help-desk support and complex troubleshooting.
• Be available after hours to maintain critical operations.
