Job summary

New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM seeks a Customer Service Technician to support the ITS Help Desk. You will receive and relay calls for the university telephone system, document requests, and ensure timely problem resolution with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of demonstrated customer service experience.

• Excellent listening, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
• Functional knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Receives and relay telephone calls for the university telephone system.
• Document user requests and problems in ITS ticketing system.
• Provide feedback to improve internal processes and resources.
• Field incoming IT help requests in person, by phone, or email, promptly and professionally.
• Assist with training of new hires within the department.
