Job summary

California State University, San Bernardino is seeking a student employee to assist the IT team in providing technical support for faculty, staff, and students across departments. The role includes maintaining computer labs, installing software, and hardware replacement.

Hours are limited to 20 per week, with scheduling based on classes, primarily in University Hall but campuses-wide tasks are common. The position is on-campus only, with strict CSU employment eligibility and background checks as

Qualifications

• Must be admitted or registered as a CSU student.
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA or greater per semester.
• Be enrolled at CSUSB at least halftime (6 undergrad units; 3 grad).
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Payroll requirement: Social Security Card.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Assist faculty/staff with computer issues in person or remotely.
• Resolve printer issues and replace hardware.
• Repair or upgrade machines and maintain labs.
