Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a part-time Customer Service Clerk to join the Student Enrollment Center pool. The role provides information and guidance to students, faculty, staff, and the public in a professional, customer-service oriented manner.

Flexibility to work at any Del Mar College campus location and shifts (morning or afternoon) is required to ensure adequate coverage of office hours. The pool is valid for one year and applicants who wish to remain must reapply and update their

Qualifications

• One year of advanced study or training past high school diploma/GED equivalency with six months of related experience, or one year and six months of related experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform general office functions by SEC kiosk, answering general questions, providing information on SEC activities, departmental location, and contact information.
• Provide information and guidance in the areas of services located in the Student Enrollment Center, assist students with general questions, provide directional information of departments and contact information.
• Participate and provide support during registration periods at any College campus, center, and outreach event.
• Perform other additional duties as assigned.
