Job summary

Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Technician II (HVAC) to maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems that support campus operations.

You will work with building automation, controls, and large equipment, with a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site at a busy campus, collaborating with a team committed to safety, reliability, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Three years of HVAC service and maintenance experience.
• Ability to work on-site in campus facilities.
• Willingness to follow safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues.
• Read wiring diagrams and technical manuals and document work.
• Utilize Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word for work tracking and reporting.
• Support building automation and controls and contribute to reliability.
