Job summary

Colorado College is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems on our Main Campus. The role requires coordination of in-house projects, preventive maintenance, and close collaboration with facilities teams.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, 3+ years of related experience, an HVAC certification, and EPA Refrigerant Technician Certification.

Qualifications

• High School/GED with 3+ years related HVAC experience.
• HVAC degree or certification plus EPA Refrigerant Technician Certification.
• Proficient with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete in-house repair and capital projects for HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• Provide technical design review for department projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair campus refrigeration for food service operations.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS (TMA) and support scheduled work.
