Job summary

HES University is seeking an HVAC Technician to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on campus HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment.

You will ensure safe, reliable operation to support students, faculty, staff, and visitors; requires 3–5 years of experience, strong knowledge of HVAC systems, and the ability to pass a background check. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• High school diploma or GED; HVAC trade school preferred.
• Ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain central plant equipment including chillers and cooling towers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized services.
• Adhere to safety requirements and document activities.
